Haunted Graveyard Dice

I made a miniature spooky world!

I love embedding things in my resin projects, like the tiny books, mini coffee cups and hot dogs in my Bylaw and Order Dice. Iā€™d recently got into double casting, which is a process for making dice where you create a core and then embed it into the die. It allows you to make really involved embedments without the risk of your embedded piece poking out the side or deforming the mold.

I had wanted to make some cool dice for my Betrayal At House on the Hill Box Mod, and also wanted to make some dice that you could put together into a scene, and thus the Haunted Graveyard Dice were born.

I started out by using my core mold to build a foundation of soil for my scene to sit on. From there I built the scene. All of the structures in the scene are made from very detailed laser cut paper of various weights. The paper tombstones were painted and weathered until they really looked like proper stones, and the paper fence around the scene looks sufficiently spooky and forebidding.

The scenes were then cast back into the core molds, and then into the special betrayal dice mold I made from resin printed masters.
