For Reality Ends Here, an Alternate Reality Game at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, I created both the iconic flags that marked the game’s meeting spots, and the rewards given out to students at the end of the game.
Reality is a game created to keep young film students in the habit of making media, and collaborating with new artists. Students generate creative prompts using collectible cards, and then produce their piece to score points. The best projects are honored at the end of the year.
Medals were made from cold cast metals and verre églomisé acrylic. Flags were painted by hand, and the leather bracelets (given to students who played in the game’s flagship year) were laser etched and hand finished.
